GWR: TSD Representative Election Outcome

Following the last nomination period that closed on 12 October, we had one valid nomination form received and therefore Louise McGowan has been duly elected unopposed. This means that we now have a full compliment of Representatives for the Train Service Delivery Department and I would like to formally welcome Louise on board as a TSSA representative.

However, we now have a vacancy in the Rostering and Resources department due to Stuart Wall moving departments, thank you to Stuart for all his efforts on behalf of members. I will now write out to Rostering and Resources members direct for them to nominate candidates to fill that vacancy.

TSD:

Swindon = 3 representatives (Grant Wrenn – who also sits on company Council, Tom Bennett and Louise McGowan)

Outbased (Not in Swindon) = 1 representative (Simon Bubb)

R&R:

Swindon = 2 representatives (Steve Clifford & Vacancy)

Next Joint Council meeting

The next Joint Council meeting is scheduled for 16^th November and your representatives will be having a staff aide meeting on 10^th November to formulate any new agenda items. If you have issues that you wish to be raised with management that haven’t been resolved, then this will be your opportunity to have them discussed so please speak to one of your representatives.

The Joint council meets no less than Quarterly.
